The Dallas CSI Foundation is a non-profit corporation established by the Dallas Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute to promote education in the field of architecture, architectural engineering, and construction science and technology. The Foundation’s objective is to promote future advancement of the construction industry through education by providing undergraduate scholarships to deserving students in these fields of study.
Since its inception in August of 1984, the Dallas CSI Foundation, with the support of its many financial sponsors, has awarded over $143,500 in scholarships to students who have shown special skill and advancement in their field of study. Selection is based upon the following criteria:
- Scholarships may be awarded to a student with a minimum of three years of College/University credit completed and at least one year remaining to complete their professional degree
- Student must be a resident of the DFW Metroplex (Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, and Denton Counties) and enrolled in an accredited college in the States of Texas or Oklahoma.
- Students must be majoring in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or Construction Science and Technology.
- Student must have shown a special skill and advancement in the areas of Architecture, Architectural Engineering or Construction Science and Technology.
- Financial need is not the primary criterion, however, consideration is given to a nominee’s financial needs.
